The NP Alumni Grant is for NP Certificate students that need to make up coursework due to sitting out of classes for over five years.
Initial Eligibility
- Acceptance and enrollment into any one of Chamberlain's Nurse Practitioner certificates (AGACNP, AGPCNP, FNP, or PMHNP).
- Must have completed NR-586: Population Health & Epidemiology for Advanced Nursing Practice, NR-507: Advanced Pathophysiology, and/or NR-509: Advanced Physical Assessment five years prior to retaking the courses (ex: November 2018 for January 2024 start, January 2019 for March 2024).
- Must enroll in three credit hours in the first session.
- Must have earned a Master of Science in Nursing -Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University.
- Continuing students are ineligible.
Awarding Information
Students awarded this grant will be charged at the Alumni Tuition Rate and have an additional 50% savings on tuition and APRN fees applied each session, up to the capped amount.
*Capped amounts are based on how many courses a student must make up due to sitting out for over five years:
- 1 course: Capped at $2,145.
- 2 courses: Capped at $4,290.
- 3 courses: Capped at $6,435.
Continuing Eligibility
Must maintain a minimum enrollment of at least three credit hours per session.
Must maintain a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and remain in good academic standing by meeting all Chamberlain standards of academic progress as stated in the Chamberlain academic catalog.
